Hyundai will start in 2015 the serial production of an electric car. The goal was announced during the presentation event SUV ix 35. Aiming to increase its competitiveness in the sector of environmentally friendly cars, the brand is already developing the technology for fuel cells.
The Korean automaker produces hybrid vehicles since 2009, using engines powered by gasoline or LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) which can perate in conjunction with an electric. The production of hybrids, which started in the factories of Hyundai South Korea and already occurs in the U.S. and Europe, should be gradually expanded to other territories.
