The sense of competition exists all over! You can catch it even if you are an important car manufacturer and you feel outran by another company.
The exact same thing happened to Nissan, which decided to take the example of the gorgeous, useful and affordable Sonata. Therefore they followed the same prints for Altima too.
According to Andy Palmer, Nissan’s executive vice president, Hyundai represented and important role-model in their decision to adjust Altima : “We even delayed development by a short amount just to check that the (new Altima’s) proportions were right, the (package) was right (and that) the product overall was right.”
It is good news for Hyundai, but they should watch out because, another competitor is on the way, and that is Toyota and its best seller Camry.
