Hyundai Gets Another One For Safety!

I think it was about time that Hyundai won another prize, right?

Their latest jewelry, the 2012 Hyundai Azera was chosen as Top Safety Pick, one of the biggest honors granted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

This award is given to the vehicles which take a straight A at the tests conceived by the Institute, concerning the degree of protection in case of front, side, rollover and rear crashes.

And Azera managed to do good at these tests, along of course with other Hyundai babies like Elantra, Sonata, Genesis, Equus, Santa Fe and Tucson.

We can surely congratulate Hyundai and IIHS for offering customers the opportunity to actually know what they are buying and what they can do to stay protected!

Hyundai Sonata Becomes Role Model For Nissan!

The sense of competition exists all over! You can catch it even if you are an important car manufacturer and you feel outran by another company.

The exact same thing happened to Nissan, which decided to take the example of the gorgeous, useful and affordable Sonata. Therefore they followed the same prints for Altima too.

According to Andy Palmer, Nissan’s executive vice president, Hyundai represented and important role-model in their decision to adjust Altima : “We even delayed development by a short amount just to check that the (new Altima’s) proportions were right, the (package) was right (and that) the product overall was right.”

It is good news for Hyundai, but they should watch out because, another competitor is on the way, and that is Toyota and its best seller Camry.

Strong competition, don’t you think?

Hyundai Offers the Best Protection!

Before buying a car, there are some things that should be taken into consideration. Safety degree is one of them. Who will buy a car that fails to assure maximum protection?

When talking about the Korean brand, Hyundai, the models which have a leading position are Elantra, Sonata, Genesis, Equus, Tucson and Santa Fe.

Recently, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded them with the 2012 Top Safety Pick, an honor which recognizes them as the cars that offer the highest level of protection.

However, this also means that the winners must have available Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a system that reduces the risks of crashing. And the car producers work hard in order to accomplish all the necessary requirements (Institute President, Adrian Lund says: “For the second year running a record number of models qualify.”  “It’s tough to win, and we commend auto manufacturers for making safety a top priority.” )

Congratulations Hyundai!
