A Quick Guide to Restroom Trailers

Some places that host people or events just do not have restroom facilities. Other places that do host events do not have facilities that are capable for big events or parties. In either of these situations, restroom trailers can be delivered to provide enough restroom capacity for whatever size event you are hosting.

Restroom trailers are seen at a lot of events, some of the more popular are concerts, carnivals, and festivals. These trailers can be used anywhere, they do not need power or water so they are very convenient. Water is usually supplied before the trailer leaves the storage facility, or it can be supplied by the customer when it gets to the site. The power for the trailer can either be provided by an on board generator or by batteries. The trailers will have power and water connections that can be used if the location the restrooms are needed has the hookups available.

When first entering a restroom trailer you will notice that it is much the same as a traditional restroom. There are some differences but not much. In a restroom trailer you will have the conventional toilets, stalls, and urinals along with sinks with running water and powered lights. Trailers can be custom made to fit client needs, most trailers have both male and female facilities on them but you can also get trailers used for a single gender.

Some of the finer features you will find in restroom trailers are tile floors, skylights and speakers to play music. These nicer features are to make the trailer feel more normal and appeal to guests that might not like the idea of portable restrooms. Portable restroom trailers offer fully functioning toilets that flush and use clean water to fill the bowel. Some trailers offer stalls with a baby changing table, these are great for parties with a lot of young children.

The more and more popular restroom trailers are becoming, the more features they keep adding to them; some trailers even have showers, heating, and decorative elements. Showers are a great feature in trailers when an event is going to last a couple of days and people will be staying on location or camping out at night. The shower feature will need a water hookup but will make your guests very happy. Older trailers had pipes that would freeze if they were used in colder climates or for parties that were held in the winter months. Luckily, this has led to winterized piping being used on trailers and climate control to be used to keep your guests comfortable in any season. Trailers are also getting decorative elements to the inside, including wood floors and art.
