Taking into account the previous article about speed, we would say that this is always a charming element at a car, but never safe.
Mark Pombo can definitely say this, after living a near death experience, last Friday, while practicing for the upcoming Continental Tire Sports Car Series race at Wisconsin’s Road America circuit.
Driving the Kinetic Racing Kia Forte Koupe, Pombo experiences some troubles and slides into a barrier at a tremendous speed. Fortunately, if we can say that, he “only” has a broken collar bone, some broken ribs, a broken jaw and a concussion, but we all know that the result could have been tragic.
We wish him a quick recovery and best of luck next time!
