Mirror, mirror on the wall, which car is the most beautiful of all?
This was the case of the 2012 Hyundai Elantra, the car which has been named 2012 North American Car of the Year . A jury made of 50 automotive journalists awarded Elantra with this awesome prize, giving Hyundai double reason to be proud (Genesis took home the award for the North American Best Car of the Year in 2009).
Having to choose from a number of 50 cars, the jury managed to narrow it down to 3: Volkswagen Passat ,Ford Focus and Hyundai Elantra.
The guys from Hyundai are very happy to be recognized in America. Here is what John Krafcik, president and chief executive officer, Hyundai Motor America said: “Elantra speaks to the success of our recipe of bold design and great fuel economy.In a year with some truly breakthrough competitors, we are honored that the jury recognizes Elantra’s far-reaching impact on the industry.”
