Hyundai has definitely started its year with excellent reviews. Recently it has been declared the 2012 Canadian Car of the Year (CCOTY) by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).
After undergoing certain tests, the top three finalists were Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Accent and Kia Optima, but number one was taken by the beautiful Elantra. The same model that won the title of North American Car of the Year, last January in Detroit.
And, in addition to this, Hyundai won 3 out of the 11 awards that were given for the “Best New” categories.
No wonder their CEO is more than proud about their success: “The all-new Elantra was simply the single most important new vehicle that Hyundai has ever launched,” (Steve Kelleher, President and CEO, Hyundai Auto Canada).
We can only wish them good luck and to bring home many prizes!
