Hyundai i-oniq at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show

Happy spring to all the Koreancarz fans! I wish you a wonderful and sunny spring filled with reduced car taxes and lower fuel consumption.

Together with the beginning of March, Hyundai has given us a glimpse of the i-oniq new version, produced at the company’s European R&D center in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

For now all we know is that it is going to be a revolutionary concept that will maintain its already famous “fluidic sculpture” but everyone’s lips are sealed until the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Thank God we only have to wait a couple of days more.

However if we are to listen to Thomas Bürkle, Hyundai’s European Chief Designer, we are in for a big surprise (“Two strong arched curves define the silhouette of i-oniq, creating a playful contrast between the sharp character lines and soft but muscular features.”)

What do you think?
