Why You Should Get A Corsa

Some of us aren’t that fussy about cars. If you’re in the market for a real all-rounder, then there’s only one model you need to know of. This car has been sold in the millions worldwide, and has won several awards for its reliability and affordability. Even though it’s becoming outdated, many people will tell you it’s irreplaceable. Here are just a few of the reasons why you should buy a Vauxhall Corsa.

The spaciousness of the fourth-generation Corsa is really something. You feel like you’re operating a pretty big car. However, handling it is just as easy in a built-up are as it is on a motorway. If you look back at the evolution of the Corsa, you’ll see that the size has been bumped up with each new release. Despite this, they’ve never overstepped it and sitting inn one of these machines feels like it’s the perfect size. This comfort is famous, and partly why sites like Imperial Car Supermarket are so crazy for them.

For a household of four or five, there’ll be ample head and leg room. There’s also a great amount of storage, both in an under-floor space and the spacious boot. You may already be aware that the Corsa uses Chassis which is identical to the Fiat Punto. Unlike the Punto, however, it has smoother steering and suspension which will smooth out almost any bump in the road.

One thing which makes driving the Corsa pretty distinct compared to other superminis is that the wind and road noise are reduced. Even when you’re tearing down the motorway, the audio inside the car is nice and clear. Aside from that, the materials and build quality feel fantastic and all the controls are remarkably easy to use.

With a machine which is so practical and easy to use, you might be suspecting some kind of catch. You can stop holding your breath – the Corsa is very easy on your wallet as well! The three smallest petrol engines it comes in, along with the 1.3 litre diesel, give exceptional efficiency.

All of them are in the third-lowest VED band, which means that you won’t be paying out too much for road tax. If this is a big factor for you, be wary. The SRi and VXR models are both in band F, which makes for significantly higher road tax. If you take the tax question out of it, any of the variants will be highly affordable to operate.

There are a lot of superminis out there, but the servicing costs for Corsas are almost always the cheapest. The initial asking price should be good as well, even if you get it straight from a Vauxhall showroom. Even if you went to a used dealership, you won’t have to worry too much about the functionality of the car.

There you have just a handful of reasons to buy a modern Vauxhall Corsa. This great little supermini is exactly what a lot of people look for in a car. You won’t be able to find the same looks, reliability and ease in anything else!
